Day 3 - Pitchfork '17

The third and final day of Pitchfork szn consisted more of taking it all in and rolling around in the grass than it was hustling to capture more photos. Solange was even more striking than I had hoped for; Joey Purp brought out water guns and Vic Mensa, Towkio and others from the Save Money crew; Avalanches canceled and I successfully never lost my phone, wallet or keys.

Pitchfork '17: Tribe Called Quest

Some moments are so monumental that they transport you to an outer-body joyride where seconds feel like days packed with intricately woven blobs of emotion.

As predicted, I felt it the moment Ali Shaheed Muhammad appeared onstage, initiating ATCQ's headlining set for both Pitchfork 2017 and my life thus far. Exceeding any expectation, fulfilling all hope, pushing each boundary, expanding the music's meaning. Not only will my live music experience forever measure up to this, but my career almost has a new purpose.
